sherlock holmes poster

so for computer apps we had to re create a poster for a movie so my group (me aaron and gabby) decided to re-create Sherlock Holmes. we decided to make it a murder mystery.
i came up wit the idea,color of the poster, pictures and layout
aaron also came up wit the picture ides, layout and help put everything together
gabby helped with the pictures and layouts
i really like out poster its really creative coming up with the color and allowing them to blend and come together it was really hard but i am happy that everything came out ok.

pathological liar disorder project

computer apps we had to research a type of disorder and make a presentation and present it to the class. my group wanted to do a sex disorder and i was like no its weird goin up in front of the class and talkin bout sex. so we all agreed to to pathological lyin disorder.

what is the coolest thing you learned???
i dont really think i learned anything "cool" but i did learn that lyin is a mental and physical disorder and is the hardest to get rid of because there is no real cure but many session of therapy.

spring break

so over spring break i really didnt do anything for the first 2 weeks. all i did was sleep eat and poop. oh and filled out a job app but the last week i spent monday-thursday cleaning the house like on my hands and knees scrubbin walls and baseboards stoves and ceiling fans that was no fun at all. thursday-sunday i spent in chicago wit the fam. i had a nice time kinda i didnt do much but sit around and talk to so friends. saturday we celebrated my brother birthday it was nice as well we sat around eatin pizza and cake i was cool wit that because i really really love cake. sunday i went to gpa church talk to some old friends and more family went back to my gma house pack my stuff and headed back to frankfort. i didnt wanna go home i love the city spending time wit my fam and friends but ill be back soon. omg the ride back seemed like it was takin forever we didnt get home til 1am monday mornin.

i didnt read a book over break 1 i dont like i could finish a book in 3 weeks ima slow reader and 2 i just dont like to read i never really have. it has to be a good book that someone else has read and told me about

this week our assignment was to design a book cover for a book we read and since Frankenstein was the last book i read. i chose to recreate according to how i felt it should look after reading the book and watching the movie. researching past book covers they werent dark and misterious enough for me so therefore i chose to make mine darker, more misterious and eye catchy. i wanted a bark, lost and confused discolorated man. because that how i felt the monster was. in the book victor frankenstein is honted by his creation "the monster" he is forced to create a wife for him and if not the monster "will be with him on his wedding night" which means he will kill victors lover and sister elizabeth. this is the image i pictured of the monster coming to victors house the night of his wedding to kill his wife, because he failed to keep his promise.

                                                 
this book to me says nothing about victor as a creator it makes you see him more as a explorer and that is not him at all. so i believeit is sending the wrong message to the reader and that shouldnt be the case. even though the story is most about victor its is also anout robert walton and the monster. but then again since it starts off with Walton it also could be a picture of him becausr he is the explorer and how he wants to be the first to discover the north pole. but if you read the book you  would know that the man on this book cover is not robert.

animals

in computer apps we were assigned to create two animals of our choice. the animals i chose to create have mixes of lizards, birds, bats, cats, cheetah and dragons.

the one in the top left corner is a mix of a green bird and lizard head. i think it took me the longest to make this because i picture what i wanted i couldnt see what animals i could put together to make it seem real. i knew that i wanted a bird just had a rough time putting one together.

the one on the bottom is a cheetah head on a cats body wit bat wings and a dragon tail. this one i call evil puss. creating this was not that hard because i knew i wanted to do a cat and make it exotic and different. choosing animal around the came color mad it a lot easier. yes i had to adjust the color a little bend and blur them as well. out of the two i like this better i believe it may be more detailed and it looks like it could be real. but if i could change anything i thing i would tone the color of the head to make it a little more tan or grey.

chris made the class create a gig poster and i believe this assignments was one of my worst i think maybe because i did know the band to well and i didnt have too much help with my group but here it is

business cards

this week in computer apps we created business cards. the business i chose as you can see was bakery. i find baking every amusing plus i plan on going off to culinary school this year.

in making this business card i wanted something simple but then again something that is appealing to the eye.

personally i think i did a fine job.

but i would love for you opinion so if you have anything to say about any of my project please comment if there is anything i could have done more or less of tell me so i can be better.

disney logo remake

so i created my own version of what i think Disney's logo and ad should be. my opinion i think  i did a really good job, well for a amateur. it my not be the best but it is something different and i think it is time for a little change. this i have learned that it aint always easy fixing or creating things to make better if it is good the way it is. over all it is ever interesting and entertaining. i don't think i can see myself have a career in logo design but it is enjoyable.

so I'm in computer apps watching art&copy, so far in the first 5 minutes of the documentary is ok. this guy is talking bout how he works for a company that puts up build board posters, and his family history how his dad and his grandfather did as well
there is another guy name George Lois who designed slogans and help save MTV. he has helped just about every business grow bigger and better ex:

disney

so in class computer apps i had to pick a company of my choice and design a new logo for it. i chose Disney, well after that i had to type up a research paper of the history and the general back ground of the whole thing. well sitting here thinking of how to come up with a new design is kinda hard cause like i only know bout the 2 that they have now.
also knowing that there logo is broad casted to billions of people to see i think bout who Disney's audience really is, and who in the world would be the best viewers? kids ages 1-15. so really i believe that i could write the word Disney throw some flower and color it in bright yellows green red and blues and the kids would love it.
but i want my logo to be totally different something that no one else has ever seen or ever think of doing and that it would be so good that no one would dare recreate.

well i lied i thought Disney only had 2 main logo designs well they don't they have hundreds like they have a new one each year. saw them today and all i can say it wow how can i compete wit that. i can barely think of one but you know what it takes time to come up with new fresh ideas but ill come up with one and ill be great.

Disney company portrays Disney and Disney world as a place of where all your dreams and imagination come to life and a place of love, peace and happiness. their logo all to me have that look of comfort and makes you want to go explore and just be yourself. that's how i wasn't my logo design to be. also i wasn't to open it up for all ages for kids teens and adults.
